drama digest

The official date of birth of the band is concidered to be the 22 of February, 2008. That was the day when the band played their first gig on one of the musical performances. Each of the band has a long time music experience - all of them used to play in different bands with various music styles before Drama Digest. That gave them a great opportunity to create a real modern grotesque rock cocktail. Unbelievable combination of glam, shock-rock, visual-kei as well as 90's grunge style, melancholy in their music and lyrics full of melodramatics - these are the main features of "Drama Digest". The main idea of the band is to open the real feelings of their listeners. That's what the misicians consider to be the main aim of music at all. Meanwhile the band continues an active concert activity and writes a new program for future gigs. Upstairs at the Ritzy

Upstairs at the Ritzy is the newly refurbished bar above the Ritzy Cinema. Currently open 5 nights a week (building to 7), Upstairs is a new cultural hub for Brixton, showcasing music (reggae, jazz, folk, blues, world etc), comedy, performance and workshops. Ooh, and we also serve delicious cocktails!
